Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue includes a high-definition remaster of Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. A cloud version of the game Nintendo Switch was announced in October 2021. A successor to the Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix game compilation, the new title was announced in September 2015 and released in January 2017 on PlayStation 4, February 2020 on Xbox One and March 2021 on Microsoft Windows. Birth By Sleep 0.2 is the only completely new experience here and it sounds like it could be more than many are expecting. Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue is scheduled for release later this year exclusively for PS4, which will be bringing not only Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance to consoles, but also a continuation of Birth By Sleep and a cinematic version of Kingdom Hearts χ on one disc.
